This past August I was invited to be the guest speaker at The Blind Veterans monthly meeting here in Lexington, KY. It was a privilege to fellowship with these men and women who served our county. After my first presentation back in August, I posted how much fun I had with these folks. To have such a handicap and an equally GREAT spirit was truly inspirational! This morning I had the honor and privilege to be asked back as this month’s guest speaker. Again, we had a ball!

I took my CD player and I played my story, “Light in the Tunnel”. My friend and producer, Keith Richardson, did a great job by adding sound affects to my story. I could tell the Vets enjoyed it and we had a wonderful discussion afterwards.

My ministry, The Journey – adifferentkindofstorybook is all about reaching people where they are. I hope to be invited back again in the future.
