The Corona virus is ripping through our nation and projected to get worse before getting better. At this time of year, perhaps the two biggest family holidays are celebrated and we’re being asked to modify how we celebrate them.

Emotions are running the entire spectrum from sad and disappointed to those who just don’t give a damn. Some view this as a health issue, while others want to politicize it—like wearing a mask. Over 250,000 Americans have died from this monster!

It is disappointing that we’re being asked to modify our Thanksgiving and probably Christmas this year, but one of my favorite quotes is, “Lose the finger, save the hand.” Yes, it’s going to hurt for a while, but if we do, we will be in a better position to save and have use of the hand in the future. If we don’t and we allow the infection to spread, we will lose the finger AND the hand!

May I suggest we strongly consider sacrificing in 2020 so we’ll have a chance for a brighter 2021 and beyond. It will take courage and commitment, but I believe it will be worth it.

Just something to think about.

NEVER GIVE UP!

Love & Peace,

Brother Charles
