Never Give Up!
To my Facebook family and friends: Our nation is staring down the barrel of some uncertain and dangerous times. Whenever possible, I have made it a point NOT to get my ministry involved with race, religion or politics. I know how sensitive and personal they are to us, but truth is truth and reality IS reality!
We can’t ignore what happened on January 6th OR what’s being planned for the near future. I happen to believe that our differences are what make our country as great as it is, not just one man or one group. Unfortunately, there are those who don’t share that belief. In my story “Unleashed,” I write that the election of 2016 didn’t create racism, but it did unleash it, and it is staring us right in the face.
My sisters and I were taught never to hate or judge others by their color, and I’m grateful for that. I am blessed to have great friends. Friends where it counts.
I’d like to encourage all of us
NOT TO BE AFRAID,
BUT DEFINITELY BE
AWARE!
Let’s not stop loving one another, let’s not stop being kind to one another, and let’s not lose HOPE—for today and for tomorrow.
